Jansky., Chief of Police Date: 12/ 12/08 Re: November Monthly Report Attached you will find the activity report for the month of November. There were 178 reported incidents during the month of November. This compares with 158 reported incidents in 2007 and 214 incidents in 2006. November was a quiet month as most go. We did see more complaints involving noise but none that involved actions taken against the landlord. We also had an increase in the number of underage consumptions written. These two usually go hand in hand. We will be starting our first responder recert. in January and February. We are doing this training on our drop days as to keep overtime down. I have also had conversations with Chief Bendsrud in Waite Park in regards to training together. We are looking at ways to share the cost and minimize overtime. I have been looking at all options to cut costs where ever we can. I am well aware of the difficult task the council has to work with.
