We had 1S3 incident reports during the month of March. This compares with 209 incidents in 2007 and 187-incidents in 2006: During the month we handled investigations dealing with identity theft and assaults. Although there was only a couple, it took a considerable amount of investigation time. Officers will be doing taser training this next month along with baton and handcuffing. We will also have the County Attorney come in and do some training on mental health holds by police officers. We have also started our party house patrols on Saturday nights and are gearing up for Pinestock and Senior Farwell We interviewed candidates for our police reserve program. We hope to start training three and possible four new candidates in the next month.
