BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 750, 000 Gallon Elevated Water Storage Tank
Approve Contract Amendment to provide additional design and
document preparation for a second style of tank (see attached
correspondence).
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT: $2,450.000

AMENDMENT TOOWNER-ENGINEER AGREEMENT

A. Effective Date of Owner-Engineer Agreement: May 10, 2007
B. Owner: City of St. Joseph
C. Engineer: Short Elliott Hendrickson, Inc.
D. Project: 750,000 Gallon Elevated Water Stora eg Tank
2. Nature of Amendment
X Additional Services to be performed by Engineer
X Modifications to Payment to Engineer
3. Description of Modifications
A. Provide additional design and document preparation for a second style of tank.
SEH will provide designs for both a Composite (Steel bowl/concrete column)
Tank and a Fluted Column (all steel) Tank to be bid as alternates.
4. Fee Adjustment
A. Add $2450 to Final Design/Document Preparation phase.
5. Schedule of Work
A. Upon approval of this amendment, SEH will deliver draft Bidding Document for
City review within 45 days.

Owner and Engineer hereby agree to modify the above-referenced Agreement as set forth in this
