BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The City Council understands that there is a portion of the City's sewer infrastructure that needs repair. The majority of the problem areas are old Oft sections of clay the with root problems and possibly more. This budget item is for the lining of existing sewer lines. It is my recommendation to use the funds for televising and root killing in the sewer lines. This will give the City a better understanding of the extent of damage within the sewer lines. If the City cross reference's the pavement management plan with the finding of the televising, it could be cost effective to coordinate the street repairs with utility repairs, if needed. BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT: Approve $20,000 ATTACHMENTS: WW-8004 REQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION: Authorize sewer the televising and root killing in the sewer lines. WW-8004 CITY OF ST.
