There were 224 incident reports during the month of 3uly. This compares with 303 incident reports in July of 2007 and 267 in 2006. The month of July was a quiet with exception of July 3'd and 4'". The celebration on the 3'd and 4^'' went off very well. I believe that we will need to look at parking and other very minor changes for next year. I have advised the folks that organize this event that we are at the limit as to what resources we can keep providing. I will keep working with this organization to work out these issues. We are looking to do some outside firearms training during the month of August. We also are getting ready for the students to come back. Sgt, Pfannenstein and I will be meeting with the security personnel from CSB and SJU on the 215` at 6:00 pm to go over what is expected of them when working with our department. This will also give us the opportunity to share information and fellowship with our partners from both campuses. We are working on getting the new SUV put into service. Dwight has put a lot work into this project and has done an excellent job. I would like to also add on that note that while I was on vacation Dwight did a bang up job on supervising the police department. It's nice to have a good second that you can depend on.
