gambling report.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Per City Ordinance No. 62 each organization conducting lawful
gambling within the City of St. Joseph is required to submit copies of their monthly state tax returns to
city hall on a quarterly basis. Per review of the tax returns it appears the organizations are sufficiently
supporting the local community with their donations. Examples of how the organizations are giving back
to the community include the following items:
Memorial Day Honors
Kennedy Outreach Program
Local Scouts
Vacation Bible School
Local Scholarships
Easter Party
St. Joseph Lab School
Dollars for Scholars
Millstream Boy Scout Project
Street Beautification
St. John's Prep School
CPR Training
