SUBMITTED BY: Finance BOARD/COMMISSION/COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION: None PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: None Council Agenda Item 4~gL BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Per City Ordinance No. 62 each organization conducting lawful gambling within the City of St. Joseph is required to submit copies of their monthly state tax returns to city hall on a quarterly and annual basis. Per review of the tax returns it appears the organizations are sufficiently supporting the local community with their donations. City of St. Joseph Ordinance No. 62.07 NOTE' Boxer's Workout Gym did not provide contributions to the community upon their start-up of lawful gambling in November, but did donate the to community earlier in the year with other charitable gambling funds They received a copy of the ordinance and understand the requirement to provide at least 10% of their St. Joseph charitable gambling funds to the St. Joseph community.
