Minutes of meeting held November 24, 1998
Meeting called to order by Joe Braun at 7:20 p.m.
Members present: John Walz, Joe Braun, Mazge Lesnick, Lonnie Abbott and Chuck
Muske.
Members Absent: Cory Ehlert.
Approval of Minutes: Motion by Lonnie to approve the minutes. Seconded by Mazge,
motion passed
Liason Report: N/A..
Chairman Report: We were handed a package from the DNR on the different grants
available.
Old Business:
Northland Park: Phase #1 is done for this year. Phase II is going to be ready
for next year. Midway Iron has 7 ft. poles for the parking lot. The City will
wrap the trees.
Winter Skating Prog~ : They made up an add to get workers for the St. Joe
Ice Rink. They are going to buy new nets for the goals. To hire a superviser
for $7.00 and his workers will get $6.00. They will hire about 6 total. We need
to have Cold Spring Electric check the lights and adjust the lights to point towards
the hill. Marge will call them. We will push back the open house till January.
Frisbee C7oLf . Okayed by the board. Thought it was a good idea for Millstream
Pazk. Will have Cory contact to give the good news to the St. Joe Lions.

Other: Marge reminded us that we okayed $400.00 to replace tree's that were
damaged by a storm. She will order them in the spring.

New Business:
Klinefelter Park: Phase 4 will go as scheduled. We also need benches and
tables.
Parks: Joe asked that everyone be assigned a park to look after.
Klinefelter Park: John
Northland Park: Lonnie
Centennial and Monument Park: Marge
Millstream Park: Chuck
Gander Mountain: Offering a gift wrapping as a project to raise money.
Kidston: They have a winter porgram. The Mayor would like the Park board
to help run the program. Tabled, need more information.
