October 27, 1997
The meeting was called to,order by Joe Braun, Vice Chairman at 5:34 pm.
Members Present: Joe Braun, Claudette I:lein, Marge Lesnick, Lonnie Abbott, and
Liaison, Sob Loso.
?"embers absent: Irma Lanier and Oave Thomas.
:`^i~utes were approved by ;large Lesnick and seconded by Boh Loso with the
exception of deleting "extent for the typing errors".
Approval of Agenda: lorthland Park was introduced as the first item.
Old Business:
P!orth and Park: Gary Schleicher was in attendance. Be had concerns and thoughts
aoout forth and Park not beco:~,ing a Cummon7ty park but a children oriented park.
The board agreed with him. It ~~~as also suggested that signs and fences be put up
regarding ''no motorized vehicles''. Sob will talk to maintenance regarding the
fence.
hoc4',ey Pink: P!S? has installed the main line last weak.
•.<linefelter Park: The trail has been paid completely. Lonnie Abbott made a motion
to have two signs put on the bridge stating the trail is 2 mile,l kilometer long.

lJnveiling of Sculpture: Vr. Klinefelter and !dendy praised the Park Board and City
for their help with this structure.

A discussion a•~as ~rougnt up by Marge Lesnick regarding spending by the °a r!: ?oard.
It v;as recommended that all bids, etc. be presented to t!le members for approval and
the Financial Summary be placed on the bat!; of the minutes.
Camping Area: The cost of printing and envelopes is quite costly.
~'ew Business:
Iti'inter Cays: Joe will contect ?od and un Club and seel~ve could combine this day
tivith their Fishing Contest.
Fund Paiser for Park Board: Lonnie ,Abbott has checked with some businesses regarding
the selling of brats, hamburgers, etc in the summer time. Cash 'vise or Super America
have been suggested.

Cloverdale Park: Joe Braun

Centennial Park - Open
Klinefelter Park - group
election of officers: Joe will check when this should take place.
