Minutes of meeting held JUNE 28, 1999
Meeting called to order by Lonnie Abbott at 7:00 p.m.
Members present: John Walz, Marge Lesnick, Lonnie Abbott, Bruce Berghorst and
Cory Ehlert. Guest: Chad Carlson.
Members Absent: Chuck Muske and Michael Mcdonald.
Approval of Minutes: Motion to approve the Minutes was passed.
Liason Report: N/A
Chairman Report: N/A
Old Business:
Northland Park: Discussion on swing set and slide to be purchased from
Game Time. Motion by Marge seconded by Bruce to spend $3,707.11
for this. Motion passed. Discussion of a 30'x 12' high baseball back stop.
Motion by Lonnie seconded by Marge for $1,540.00 to purchase baseball
back stop from Bemboom Fence Company. Motion passed.
Memorial Park: Discussion on concreting the ice rink. Motion by Bruce seconded
by Lonnie to spend up to $7,500.00 on materials, labor and sealant to complete
project. Motion passed.
Bike Pathways: Chad presented Tom Moes's final plan for the bike pathways.
Chad suggested the Park Board adopt the plan and use it in phases as it sees
fit. The important thing is that we have an adopted plan as we try to secure
funding and grants for a bike trail. Motion by Cory to adopt the bike plan as
it was presented. Seconded by John, motion passed.
