Minutes of meeting held November 16, 1999
Meeting called to order by Lonnie Abbott at 7:15 p.m.
Members present: Sohn Walz, Lonnie Abbott, Chuck 1Vluske and Bruce Berghorst
Marge Lesnick and Cory Ehlert.
Members Absent: None.
Special Guests :Mark Terhaar,Jim Graeve,Mary Ann Graeve,Kathy Kuebelbeck,
and Mary Niedenfier.
Approval of Minutes: Motioned by John and Seconded by Marge to approve
minutes, Motion Passed.
Chairman Report: Summer Rec. Lonnie stated that we have (2) applicants for the
summer position and none for the ice rink. We decided to resubmit the help
wanted ad for both and give a Nov. 30th deadline.
New Business:
Farmers Market: There was a cornmitee present at the meeting to ask
for the Park Boards OK to use Millstream Park for 19 Fridays thru the
summer for a Farmers Market. They felt that' the area growers would
only agree to sell in this Market if they had a place on County RD #75.
After slot of discussion about the pro's and the con's of letting a Park
to be used for this purpose.
Motioned by Chuck and seconded by John to allov~= the Farmers Market
to use Millstream Park for there Farmers Market, as long as we set a
few guidelines that they must follow.I~To vehicles allowed on the grass,
that they pay a $250. damage deposit and that they keep at least this
amount at $250. dollars. Incase some of the damage deposit is used
thru the course of the year.That they pay in advance for the Park for
the days they reserve it. It will be on a One year experimental period.
Faliure to abide by these rules the agreement will be terminated.
Motion Passed 3 yes and 2 no.
