April 24, 1979
The St. Joseph Parks Commission meeting of April 24, 1979 was called to order
at 7:00 p.m. by President R.ay Brandenburger, with the following members in
attendance: Dick Taufen, Mark Plantenberg, Dave Keller, Bob Lyon, William
Lorentz, Bud Reber, Harvey Notch.
Motion by Dick Taufen seconded by Mark Plantenberg to appoint a three-man
committee to work out a five year plan after the next meeting, after the
Hennipen County Park Reserve plan is checked by the Park Commission. Motion
carried.
Bud Reber reported the City Council approved four horseshoe courts at a cost
of $2,400.00 at Millstream Park.
Motion by William Lorentz seconded by Dick Taufen that the Planning Commission
take into consideration an access street to the no name park so it exits east
of the storm sewer outflow. Motion carried.
Motion by Dave Keller seconded by Mark Plantenberg to adjourn. Motion carried.
