JOSEPH PARKS COMMISSION MEETING October 26, 1981 The October 26 meeting of the St. Joseph Parks Commission was called to order at 7:10 p.m. in the Legion Club rooms. Members present were: Blanchette, Brandenburger, Kapsner, Keller, Klein, Lorentz, Pfannenstein and Taufen. Minutes, of the September meeting were approved with a motion by Kapsner; seconded by Taufen. A notice. to be published in the Hitching Post, concerning park reservation policy and rules was approved by the Commission after a small addition was made which requires dogs in parks to be leashed. The cost of electrical work done in Lions shelter amounted to $84.50. Volleyball nets have been removed for the winter. Permit has been granted for clean fill to be dumped in rifle range area. Clean fill is being used in various areas of Millstream Park. Cost estimate for installation of security light in campground area was not ready. Ray Brandenburger will prepare it for next meeting. A new location has been found for the bridge which will be constructed with Grant ~~2 m®ney. The Commission approved an amendment to the By-laws. stating parks will be available for reservations from May 1 to October 1. The motion was made by Taufen; seconded by Brandenburger.
