August 22, 1983
The regular meeting of the St. Joseph Parks Commission was held in the City Hall
at 7:10 p.m. on August 22. Members present were: Blanchette, Gretsch, Klein,
Pfannenstein, Taufen, Primus, Manderfeld, and liaison, Reber.
Taufen reported that the Grant #2 project is well underway and expected- to be
completed in about a week.
Flags were placed on the golfing greens. This will help to identify the golfing
area in Millstream Park.
Taufen suggested a notice be placed in the St. Joseph Courier stating the archery
range is available.
Nothing new to report about the rifle range situation.
Trees from Hollow Park will be transplanted in September, by volunteers and park
maintenance people.
Meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
