The St. Joseph Parks Commission met in City Hall at 7:00 p.m. on June 25. Members
present were: Blanchette, Gretsch, Klein, Loscheider, Braun, Manderfeld, Pfannenstein
and liaison, Reber.
No correspondence, nor finincial report given. ',
The basketball hoops and brackets will be purchaseG at Lee's Hardware.
Blanchette to complete forms to be submitted to DP7R to obtain permit 1:o dredge Mil]~stream
Pond. A $30.00 nonreturnable fee is to be included with completed forms.
Manderfeld checked the old basketball-tennis court in Iiemorial Park. Resurfacing ~s
necessary, but the pole and baskboard might be OK. Hcops and nets are needed but
Reber said the recreation departmera might still have the old tennis nets. Klein
made a motion to recommend resurfacing the old court; Gretsch seconded. Manderfeld
to get estimates for same.
Blanchette reported the Jaycee women wish to donate adult swings to the park syste~.
The St. Joseph Township is contributing $175 for the student worker's salary. ',
Klein motioned to adjourn; Pfannenstein seconded. Meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
