Meeting of February 23, 1986
Minutes
Meeting was called to order at 6:43. .Members present were:'
Donna Blanchette, Nell Pfannenstein, Greg Henry, Mary Jo Loscheider,
Joe Braun, Mike Strickler, Fay Gretsch, Claudette Klein and liaison
Steve Dehler.
Minutes were approved and seconded.
Millstream dredging: Probably table and watch for any one that would
do the job. Joe will write an article re: dredging - should it be
left to go back to a stream or should it be taken care of.
New membership: Bob Rice is very interested, he worked with St. Cloud
Rec Assn. Rick Ahles said he would accept if no one else would be
interested. Motion was made to accept Bob Rice to the commi-ssion.
Rifle Range: We will contact Bill Lorenz and ask for a presentation
regarding the rifle range at our next meeting.
Sign on Ice Rink: hours for skating should be posted.
Election of officer: This will be held in December.
Park Improvements: Steve advised us of the Council's policy for
spending monies. We must make a proposal to the City Council to
purchase equipment, etc. for parks, although they did approve the
purchase of 2 PR-15's.
Donna talked to Dick Taufen regarding the hills in the parks,
and he didn't think he would have the time to build them. It
was suggested to get Felix Co. or Schramel to bring in the materials.
Meeting adjourned at 7:26.
