Meeting was called to order by Donna Blanchette at 7:06 pm on April 28, 1986.
" Members present were: Fay Gretsch, Claudette Klein, Nel Pfannenstein, Dick
Taufen, Joe Braun, Mike Strickler, Greg Henry, Jo Loscheider, Liaison Steve
Dehler.
Treasurer's report was approved. Minutes were approved.
1. PR15's are here - cost $3,269 paid and was $100 less of early payment date.
2. Hilltop Nursery - esteimate for grading, sod and staking came to $355 and
labor $345. Mike will get a bid from Felix for hauling of fill for hills.
3. Donation was received from St. Joseph Women of Today for $30. A thank you
note will be sent.
4. An informational meeting will be held on May 21 for all organizations in
the City concerning park improvements. Each member will bring a dozen
cookies.
5. The American Legion donated 100 trees to the park. the Boy Scouts will be
asked to plant them.
It was recommended that we ask the city council for an additional person to
help upkeep the parks.
Also a recommendation was made to purchase signs "No motorized vehicles" in
the parks.
Also need new park rules made up again.

7. Hockey Association presented their ideas for winter sports but would like to
keep the Hockey Ass. name. A motion was made by Mike to create a committee
to check into recommending hiring a Winter time Recreation Director. A com-
mittee of Donna, Greg and Clauette will meet to see what recreation could
be done in the winter time.
8. Next meeting will be May 12 at 7 pm in the City Hall.
