Minutes of meeting - February 2.3, 1987
7:00 pm - City Hall
Meeting was called to order at 7:10 pm. Members present were: Donna Blanchette,
Nel Pfannenstein, Joe Braun, Fay Gretsch, Jo Loscheider, Greg Henry and Steve
Dehler, Liaison.
Minutes were approved and seconded.
Old Business:
Financial print our from the City: Steve reported that the print out we received
was one of the first the city has done and things are still being added changed.
The 1987 print our should be much more complete.
Lion's Plans for Improvement at Millstream: Fay showed us the blue print for the
shelter expansion. We sugcrested there be a second outside door added to the
plans. The Lions will not be putting in storage space. Fav -°~i.ll ask if they will
let t.`~•a city put it in.
Crack on log on PR-15: Donna said the.~company representative, Mr. Johnson, looked
~at the crack. It is only a "drying" crack and will not affect the quality of the
cRUipment.
Ifcfi ter to Girl Scouts for Cleanup/Project on May 2nd: Donna said the letter has
been given to Kathy Bruns, local town organizer, and should be going out to
leaders soon. The leaders can then send registration forms back to Donna.
City Council's vote on new equipment: Steve said they didn't vote yet.
New Business:
Park Rules in St. Joseph Journal: Donna has given these to the Journal and they
will be published soon.
Summer Recreation Director: Julie Darg will not be coming back. An ad will be
placed in the St. Cloud Daily Times for the position of Director.
Letter about used equipment: Steve said the Council said if the equipment we
want to sell at Centennial is unsafe, we should throw it in the dump or if it
is ok we should leave it there. We decided to wait to see what happens with the
new equipment before we try more with the old equipment.
First baseline fence at Memorial Park: Joe reported this fence was in bad con-
dition as well as the home plate fence. He said the poles need to be painted.
After discussion we recommended the City buy 12 guage fence at Mills Fleet at
a cost of $380.00 to replace the existing fence. We recommended the ball team
paint the poles.
Meeting adjourned at 8:15 pm.
