Minutes of meeting, December 21, 1987
Meeting called to order at 7:05 pm at Bo Diddley's.

Members present: John Anderson, Fay Gretsch, Jo Loscheider, Greg Henry,
Joe Braun, Claudette Klein, Liaison Steve Defiler came late.
Members not present: Nel Pfannenstein
A motion was made by Jo to approve the minutes and it was seconded by John.
Implementation of Winter Recreation: Letters were went to Geri-Anne Zubish
and Sandy Cravens as co-directors. A rejection letter was sent to Jill Miller.
There will be a meeting on January 7th at 7:00 pm with John, Joe and the new
directors and any one may come if interested. They also need to work with Steve
and the ice rink workers. A write-up should be put in the St. Joe Bank.
Bulletin regarding ice times.
Greg made amotion to have hours for warming house put on a wooden board and
placed at each warming house. This was seconded by Claudette.
Music at Memorial Park Rink: music option is on back order, John will call after
Christmas, the PA system is holding us up. Could it also be used for Summer
Recreation Program?
A recommendation was made to have a box built 36" long, 16" high and 16" deep
for the PA and radio cassette with key and lock for the box.
Window in Warming House: on hold.
House in Millstream Park: is there a reason for it to stay, historic, lease,
etc.? Could it be removed?
New Business
1988 .goals - check over 5-year plan and see what should be accomplished in °88.
Bring to January meeting.
Members: we do need one more male member on our committee. Anyone may ask
someone they think may be interested.
Girl Scouts: would like to help maintain park areas in spring but they need
more adult supervision while working.
Sand. Box: in Cloverdale could be made into any shape?
Park Rental Fee: will stay as has been. John said a tax amount would need to
be levied.
Toilets in Millstream Park: no one opposed .this on the City Council. Lionness'
