informed about any details.
Hockey rink: may not be moved this year, maybe it should stay where it is because of the
cost will be too extensive to move it.
Centennial Park: no report form John - we know they are re-doing the bathrooms. The
Jaycees would paint the building after it has been sandblasted on the outside.
Tot Lot: Recommendation made to have the 2 cement picnic tables near th ifle range moved
to Cloverdale and Hollow parks -seeing they do not serve a purpose whe` they are now and
thereby saving about $300 to buy 2 of them.

Basketball court: Greg reported that the party has not returned his call with an estimat
Archery: suggestions by a Mr. Notch to put get a tarp and notch in to make it look good
to keep people out. Also use rubber belts to paint targets, also bales for the target.
The total cost would probably be less than $200. If this upgraded, would the insurance cover
this area?
Jogging course: recommendation was made for the city to pay for the cement and post hole
digger to install the jogging course which the Jaycees would do.
Summer Recreation: Lori was hired and is already getting started.
Policy for changing park rental: Larry and Claudette will revise some guidelines.
Clean-up day: will be next Saturday, May 13. John suggested a fund to be started called
"Friends of Parks" to be-put in the bank as donations come in from different people.
Coupons will be given out Saturday to people who help clean up and they may cash them in
at the Millstream Softball park for hot dogs and buns, etc. St. Ben's Service Committee
had a clean up day in St. Joe on Sat. May 6. They cleaned Memorial and Centennial parks.
They would like this to be an annual affair.
Liaison's report: Centennial park is not quite completed but some "neat" things are being
done to the shelter. We need to get sand in the Horseshoe area.
Signs should be put up in the park regarding camping rules. They are at the City Hall.
There were some complaints on campers being asked to leave Millstream park. It was decided
that they need to pitch a tent or have a camper there.
Mayor Loso came to themeeting and we talked about items that should have been done last
