Meeting was called to order by John Anderson at 6:38 pm. Members present: Larry Christen, Marge Lesnick, Greg Henry, Rich Schultz, Claudette Klein, Jce Braun, Darwin Erickson, John Anderson. ABsent: Fay Gretsch, Nel Pfannenstein, Liasion Steve Dehler. Minutes were approved by Greg Henry and seconded by Marge Lesnick. Liaison report: Steve not present. Old Business: Winter Recreation: only 1 per on applied. He has a good resume. Ideas were given by board members. Ice~kating lessons, gymnastics, swimming lessons, bowling, Wacky Winter Week, Hayride at Heritage Center, fishing day,' ski trail in Morningside, roller skating, cross country skiing. Early advertising recommended. Interview on Oct. 16 or 18 at 6:OO.pm. Interviewers will~be: John, Greg and Joe. New Business: John will bring catalogs for toys for parks. Nel Pfannenstein has turned in a letter of resignation. Warming House: It was brought up that maybe retired adults should supervise the warming house. There seems to be too much trouble with young students. Recommendations: From Millstream dredging: It looks very nice. Also to have the bridge that was removed from near soft-1~a11 park area be put into Morningside Park for future use. It was recommended that the City Clerk call the Big Toy company to have broken slide repaired. Also have the steering column repaired in Cloverdale repaired. Meeting adjourned at 7:30 pm.
