Minutes of January 14, 1991

Meeting was called to order by John Anderson, chairperson at 6:34 pm.
Minutes were approved by Joe Braun and seconded by Fay Gretsch.
Members present; John Anderson, Rich Schultz, Joe Braun, Claudette Klein, Greg
Henry, Fay Gretsch, Darwin Erickson, f9argie Lesnick and liaison, Bob Loso.
Absent: Larry Christen
Liason report: Since Bob is new he did know about a report, but did report that
a new overhead heater was put in the Hockey rink warming house at Kennedy. He
also reported that a window had been approved for the warming house in Memorial
Park.
Old Business:
Winter Recreation Program: This program has had a late start. John will check
with the director. He has many things lined up. A suggestion was made to cancel
the program for next year.
Prioritization of Park wants; and needs:
Cloverdale & Hollow Park:
~-sand box in Hollow Park
-basket ball pad made larger
-bicycle stands
-spring toys
-better garbage container
Centennial Park:
1. defined rock area around shelter
2. Bicycle racks
3. Border around pearock play toy
4. Move volleyball court and fill with sand
5. re do horseshoe pits
6. replace sink
Monument Park:
1. treat ornamental trees
2. tuck point the monument

for fungus infection
Millstream Park:
1. plow for winter access
2. plant large shade trees
3. paint poles
4. paint the bathroom
5. sign on Hwy 75
P9orningside Park:
1. access to the park with staggered posts on 10th Street

3. move the sign
4. develop trails
5. develop a picnic area

- We will invite the new Chief of Police to our.-February meeting. .
Schedule opening of public meeting in March..... Send a letter to all. service groups.
