Meeting was called to order by John Anderson, chairperson at 6:37 pm at
the Legion.
Members present: Joe Braun, John Anderson, Larry Christen, Fay Gretsch,
Greg Henry, Rich Schultz, Claudette Klein and Liaison Bob Loso.
Absent: Darwin Erickson and Marge Lesnick
Minutes were approved by Greg Henry, seconded by Larry Christen.
Liaison Report: window will be put in warming house in Memorial Park. This
will be a spring porject. There is no problem with opening bathrooms in
Centennial Park until 10:00 pm.
Morningside Park entrance -need more specifics on how entry is to be built.
Copies will be made of original plan and given to Bob Loso.
Old Business
List of clubs/associations/organization will be invited to the March 11
meeting at 6:30 pm.
Letter of resignation from the Winter Recreation Program Director was received
by John Anderson. A recommendation was made to suspend the Winter Recreation
Program for the next two years by Greg Henry and seconded by Larry Christen.
Spring Park clean-up - no report or date set as of yet.
New Business
The new police chief was unable to attend: our meeting. John did convey by
phone to the Chief of Police the illegal use of ATV's in parks and also
the use of air rifles in Millstream Park or any other park.
Meeting adjourned at 7:25.
