Meeting was called to order by 'Rich Schultz at 6:40 pm.
Members present: Fay Gretsch, Irma Lanier, Darwin Erickson, Marge Lesnick, Claudette
Klein, Liaison Bob Loso.
Members absent: Dolan Anderson, Joe Braun.
Liaison Report:
Reb gave everyone a copy of current budget and expenditures.
Cloverdale 3rd and 4th money was desi~ated for Morningside and Northland g~rk.
The city applied for a grant for trailways in Morningisde park and should have an answer
by September.
City Parks budget thus far this year: $922.32 has been spent.
Council approved expenditure for Centennial park: square all area under swings and sand
box. Pea rock will be put 4 ft south, west, north sides and 6 feet on east side of
shelter.
'Council approved expenditure for fence in Morningside wer to drainage culvert $3670.
T~lalk way in Mornmment park will get an estimate soon. The replacement of broken trees
came to $373.00.
A note was sent to the Police Department to open the bathrooms in Centennial park every
day.
A sug;;e~tiban was made to have adult swings put in Morningside park. This will be checked
into at a later date.
A suggestion was made to remove all swings, sand box from Tot lots to Morningside park.
City Council needs the budget revised so there are prices with each item for the next
several years.
Meeting adjourned at 7:22 pm.
The next meeting will be July 26, 1993.
