Meeting was called to order at 6:35 by Chairman John Anderson.
Members present were Fay Gretsch, Marge Lesnick, Joe Braun, John Anderson,
Darwin Erickson, Claudette Klein and Liaison Bob Loso.
Members absent: Irma Lanier and Rich.~Sehuttcz.
Liaison Report:
Bob Loso hired Steve Notch, Michael Beuning and Bob Zimmer to tend the skating
rink. There will be free skating behind the left fie.~d fence. Lights are up
around the hockey rink. Skating will open December 10 depending upon the
weather. Irma is getting prices on playground equipment for the December
meeting.
Old Business
Revision of by-laws continued:
Joe Braun made a motion to add -#9 to l~rticle VIII:
Park Commission is empowered to solicit funds or services from agencies or
organizations when deemed necessary for park improvements. Secretary will
type up the revised by-laws and mail them to members.
Invitation to meeting:
Claudette Klein will check with Ken Hiemenz to see if he can attend our
January meeting regarding Morningside Park.
New Business
Revision o rules for parks: Marge brought a copy of the rules. This will
be tabled until the next meeting.
Our next meeting will be December 27 at 6:30 at Kay's Kitchen.
Meeting adjourned at 7:30 pm.
