Minutes of meeting February 28, 1994 ~''~ ;w ~.:.
Meeting was called to order by Joe Braun, Vice President at 6:34.
Members present: Joe Braun, Fay Gretsch, Claudette Klein, Marge Lesnick,
Irma Lanier, Richard Schultz and Liaison Bob Loso.
Members absent: John Anderson, Darwin Eric'xson.
Ken Hiemenz gave us some good input and ideas from a drawing he handed
out to each person regarding trails, bridges, observation platform for
viewing different kinds of species in the area. He emphasized the wetland
and nesting areas.
Liaison Report:
We received a copy of the monies projects for 1994.
Skating rink is closed. Question asked why rink was not cleaned on weekends.
We reviewed the by-laws as established by the lawyer of the city. A recom-
mendation was made to accept the by-laws as stated.
Grant proposal is still in its infancy state.
Skating lessons were cancelled due to no volunteers to teach the lessons.
Slide report: Irma passed out information from 2 different companies. These
were reviewed and a recommendation was made to purchase the slide from Game
Time with abase platform in the middle. Irma will investigate the safety of
the slide.
Spring Clean up has tentatively been set for April 30.
We received an ADA requirement packet from the City Office for reviewal. We
will call a special meeting to review the requirements.
Irma will check on park rules to be laminated and posted before the park
season begins.
John Anderson will be asked to take part in the "Take Pride" meeting.
Next meeting will be March 28, 1994.
Meeting adjourned at 7:50 pm.
