Special meeting April 11, 1994 ~'~~ :" w-`
Meeting was called to order by John Anderson at 6:30 pm.
Members present were: John Anderson, Joe Braun, Marge Lesnick, Irma Lanier, Claudette
Klein and Liaison Bob Loso.
Members absent were: Rich Schultz, Darwin Erickson and Fay Gretsch.
Bob Loso, Liaison reported that a tree will be cut down behind B field in Millstream
Softball park.
The city hired two people to do the maintenance in the city parks.
The bleachers in Sauk Rapids look very good and would be feasible for the Memorial
Park. Price is still being negotiated and solicitation plans for money are being
pursued.
The Recreation Association will have pull tabs at the LaPlayette with priority given
to parks and Millstream softball park monies for the future.
Millstream Park repairs will coincide with Recreation Association.
For next agenda:
Budget goals for next year.
Tree replacement in Mon~nent Park.
Regarding the ADA recommendations:
t~Te prioritized changes for one and two years.
First priority: First and second year
Remodel existing bathroom in Centennial Park $2,300.00
Remodel existing bathroom in Millstream Park 4,060.00
Memorial Park bathroom 4.530.00
Second priority: 3rd and 4th year program
Hard surface
Centennial Park -entrance to park 600.00
Suggested 6 foot skirting around building
Millstream - sidewalk to entry of building 540.00
Third priority: 5th year
Surface parking lot and mark stalls
Meeting adjourned at 7:35 pm.
