Meeting was called'to order by John Anderson at 6:.35 pm.
Members present: Fay Gretsch, Joe Braun, Marge Lesnick, Irma Lanier, John Anderson,
Claudette Klein and Liaison Bob Loso.
Members absent: Richard Schultz and Darwin Erickson.
Minutes were approved by Joe Braun and seconded by Marge Lesnick.
Liaison Report:
The slab has been laid in Memorial Park and the bleachers should be completed by
next week. Bleachers in this area are ADA approved.
Concrete is begun around Centennial Park Shelter.
Morningside Park has been staked out for play area: 60 x 70.
Signs for nesting area are at City Hall.
Changes have been made for 1995 budget. See copy of revised budget.
Replacement for shrubs in Monument-Park: Marge checked with Denny Katzner and the
replacement of the flowering crab wi1.1 be free of charge.
The Maintenance Crew will do the work in Morningside park.
Old Business:
Millstream park: a research for a second volleyball court - respect should be given
the Lions Club because it is their park. Fay will approach them for playground
equipment.
New Business:
Hollow Park: Marge attended the Jaycees meeting and they will. donate $900.00 for
this park. The money will be used to purchase a swing fra:~e for $779.18, park bench,
for $159.75., garbage container for $101.17 for a total of $1030..10. Irma made
a motion to approve $130.10 expenditure to complete purchase of swing set, park bench,
garbage container. at Hollow Park. Money coming from development fund.. Total purchase
price is $1030.10 not including installation and $900 was donated by the Jaycees.
Motion passed unanimously. A thank you note was sent to tze Jaycees.
Bob Loso stated that the cost of approach and parking lot for Morningside Park will
be $3507.54 and money will come from Cloverdale ~~4 account.
Motion was made by Joe Braun that we construct the entrance with curb and gutter
bituminous using the $3507.54 in Cloverdale 4 account and balance from development
fund to be sued in 1994 according to specifications. Motion passed unanimously.
