Meeting was called to order by John Anderson at 6:30 pm in the City Hall.
i~~embers present: John Anderson, narwin Erickson., Ir±~na Lanier, Joe Braun, Fay Gretsch,
Marge Lesnick, Claudette Klein and Liaison Bob Loso.
Minutes were approved by John Anderson and seconded by Fay Gretsch.
Old Business:
Liaison Report: Bleachers are installed at Memorial. Park with a cost of $16,180 and
$12,000 of the amount has been donated.
Morningside Par's: The parking lot needs to be staked out for curbing. Need cost
estimate for sand box. Darwin will get material cost. Swing. arrived for Hollow Park.
Budget was finalized in the amount of $10,000 for 1995 and we still have $5,397 from
Park Development fund and 55,184.50 in Grant re-imbursement from this year.
Darwin Erickson will speak to Richard Schultz regarding his position on the Park Board.
Fay Gretsch stated that the-Lions Club will install a new volleyball court so there
will be two in Millstream Park.
Nesting Signs: Darwin Erickson will check regarding the posting of the signs if they
are not posted yet.
Joe Braun stated that several people have been checking out the archery equipment.
New Business:
Babe Ruth League: A meeting was held on Sunday September 25. Darwin attended and
said that a letter would be sent to every household in the fire district. There ~„ril]
be another meeting at 7:00 pm on October 30. He stated that all St. Joe boys will
need to play in St. Joe and not in Waite Park as many have been doing the last few
years.
A project for winter would be to make/buy boxes for all park rules to be posted in
all parks. Joe Braun and Irma Lanier would be doing this project.
Joe Braun will begin planning the skating lessons earlier this year.
Next meeting will be October 24 at 6:30 pm.
Meeting adjourned at 7:15 pm.
