Minutes of meeting July 10,.1995
~~!eeting was called to order by Joe Braun at 6:28 pm.
~~lembers present: Darwin Erickson, John Anderson, Joe Braun, Irma Lanier, Fay Gretsch,
~^argie Lesnick, Claudette !<lein and Liaison Bob Loso.
Bob indicated that we have $19,000 left in park fund - minus $5,000 for roof over
grill area in Centennial Park.
As of this date we have $350C for a gig Toy in ~horningside Park.-from donations.
Margie will get a bid to complete the east end of fence in Centennial Park and also
a bid for the southwest side to townhouse area from Remboom.
There should be a bike rac!< placed in Centennial Parl< this year and purchase a rack
teat will fit mountain bike tires.
A suggestion was madeto:have the Community Garden put in ilillstream Park avith benches,
picnic tables and pad and grills. Bob vaill check this item with S. Phyllis Plantenberg
who is in charge of the garden.
P1onument Park - decorative rock around shrubs and trees - wait until spring for this
porject. ^largie will get a bid for sprinkling system for this area.
Tot Lots - Swing set should be set up by maintenance as it was delivered last year
already.
northland Park: '•loney has been set aside for work on this park.
h1orningside Park: The City maintenance could put poles and fence in fora back stop
with material they have in their maintenance shed. It should be 8' high and maybe
6' or 8' sides.
Projected budget for 1996 for parks was discussed.
Meeting adjourned at 8:00 pm.
