Members present: John Anderson, Joe Braun, Marge Lesnick, Claudette Klein and Liaison, Bob Loso. Members absent: Irma Lanier and Darwin Erickson Minutes of last meeting were approved as written. Liaison Report: Each Park Board member received a letter from Sgt.:. Rob the Special Olympics Memorial Mile. We are asking him 22nd meeting with final details. 4~e received $2400 from the St. Joseph Recreation Assn. Klinefelter Park: depending upon what will happen with we may have the trail and parking lot surfaced at that Bob is going to pursue .the idea of soccer fields in P1i Schwegel,.regarding to attend our April for the trail. Minnesota street time. llstream Park. Old Business: Babe Ruth League: Bob reported ;the same will take place as last year for 13 year old boys. Signage in Parks: A calendar of events should be posted as new park sign-ups are made. Marge and Joe will be responsible for the changes. Memorial Park: A few shrubs will need to be replaced due to snowmobiles running them-over. Decorative rock will be put in the park. A proposal was made by Joe Braun to put a hold on the sprinkling system in Memorial Park until the Klinefelter Park has been developed. Centennial Park: Marge checked with Bemboom regarding the fence on the Southwest side of the park to be done at the same price as quoted last fall which is $2955.00. We will ask them to begin the project as soon as the frost is out of the ground. New Business: Summer Rec Program: Dave Heideman explained what will happen this summer with the different programs. All baseball programs will take place in the morning-with other activities.in the afternoon. There will be 7-9 and 10-12 year old teams and h~slboking for sponsorship. Registration went well and is open until June'.1. They will have t-shirts again. They will also bus children from Kennedy to Millstream. Spring Clean-up: Dumpsters will again be around town and curb pick-up for large items will take place on April 11 and 18, 1996. Joe Braun will set up a date for park clean up. Election of Officers: tabled until April meeting with all members present. Meeting adjourned at 7:38 pm. Next meeting will be April 22, 1996 at Centennial Park.
