Minutes of meeting August 26, 1996
Meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm at Millstream Park.
Members present: Joe Braun, Marge Lesnick, & Bob Loso.
Last month's minutes were reviewed.
Because there was no quorum present an agenda was not followed.
Discussion was held on the issue of Kleinfelter Park concerning the
funds that were donated by anonymous donors. The members
present looked over the Game Book for possible playground
equipment to be put into Kleinfelter Park from this fund. It was
decided that Marge would contact a representative from Game Time
to see if they could come out and assess the park, give suggestions,
and let us know what they have available. Marge will report back at
the September meeting.
Soccer field is going well. Getting bids for the goals-Joe & Bob.
Northland Park & Soccer field will be seeded this fall.
Discussion on archery range. Joe was contacted by someone whether
the archery range in Millstream is available for practice. It is.
Marge reported that the crabapple tree for Monument Park has not
been purchased yet. It will be yet this fall.
Bob reported the trail bid for Kleinfelter Park will be August 29th.
Will keep us posted.
Bob .reported that the budget for the Parks Commission has been
submitted to the City Council and will be finalized in September.
Next meeting is September 23, 1996 - 6:30 pm at St. Joseph City Hall.
