Meeting was called to order by John Anderson, Chairperson, at 6:37 pm
at.the Meeting Grounds.
Members present were: John Anderson, Joe Braun, Marge Lesnick, Irma
Lanier, Claudette Klein and Liaison, Bob Loso.
Minutes were approved as written by John Anderson.
Liaison Report:
The Park Board received $4500 from Rick Heid for Pond View Addition.
Bob will have the City Engineer re-bid the trail for Klinefelter Park.
The original bid was $72,000.
The soccer field could be ready by fall of 1997.
We will need to prepare the ground and seed the area in spring. A bid
will be needed.
Old Business:
The skating rink program is going quite well. The personnel working
the warming house are doing fine. Joe Braun will take care of the hot
chocolate on Saturdays and Sundays for four weekends in January.
Camping rules: tabled until spring.
Playground Equipment for Klinefelter Park: It was suggested that we
purchase some equipment for the second phase at the end of February.
It was mentioned about the snowmobiles going through town so much.
John will talk to STeve Streng and see if an article could be published
in the Newsleader regarding areas that they can drive on. Marge said
she would call the Sno-Joes also to check into this problem.
New Business:
The Dry Riders would like to spend the weekend•in Millstream Park again.
The board agreed to let them use the park and maybe ask them fora small
donation.
Meeting adjourned at 7:15 pm.
Next meeting will be the 3rd Ply, January ~ at ," pm in City Hall.
