Meeting vdas called to order by Joe Braun, Vice Chairman at 5:30 pm.
'^embers Present: Joe Braun, Irma Lanier, Claudette Klein, Liaison Bob Loso.
'!embers P,bsent: Marge Lesnick.and John Anderson.
John Anderson brought the Agenda and his resignation letter to Claudette Klein
on "arch 24, 1997. A copy of his information was given to all board members.
"1inutes were approved as written by Irma Lanier and seconded by Joe 3raun.
Liaison report: report sort of followed the agenda.
Old business:
P,: Improvements in Northland Park: Residents living in Uorthland ?ark attended
the meeting. They have contacted several businesses that would help; donate
time and materials for that area. Items they are interested in .seeing ocEUr
in that area are: volleyball court; basketball court and play area for smaller
children. It was suggested that they form a sub-group that would come to the
Fark Board meetings and give us their input. It was suggested that Northland
Addition be put on the agenda every month.
3. Siring Clean-up: The date is i~ay 3rd. Joe Braun, coordinator, has sent
a flyer to the following groups: Boy Scouts, girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, 4.; group,
Confirmation Students and Adults are encouraged to help.
C. !Clinefelter Park: The Big Toy was ordered. A representative from big Toy
~.~vill be present to help with construction. Bob will check with Representative.
". The City Council has appointed Oave Thomas as the new member to the Park
:oard.
_. Items to be checked this spring:
Check bridge under highway to ;~illstream Park. Should it he vacated or
repaired?
!?ids for Klinefelter Park will be opened on April 3rd.
Seeding in Northland Park will be done after the snow is gone.
Seeding for Soccer field in spring.
Special garbage pick up the last week in day and the first week in June.
Tne seedlings that were ordered will he coming on '"ay 1st. Bob will check
to see where they will be planted.
