Minutes from October 15, 2004
Members Present: Bruce Berghorst, Mazge Lesnick, Chuck Muske, Cory Elbert, Dale
Wick -Council Liaison.
Call to Order: 7:05 -City Hall
Motion to Approve Agenda: Motion to approve by Marge, seconded by Bruce. Motion
Approved.
Motion to Approve Minutes: September Minutes Tabled until November Meeting
Chairman Comments: Welcome new member: Cory Elhert
Old Business:
Budget Review: Reviewed Capital Improvement Plan number. One change that was
discussed was the bathrooms at Centennial. It was decided to wait on deternn;n;ng a
number until we find out if the I/Z cent sales taxis approve at the upcoming election.
~' ~ Park Maintenance Update.
Millstream Park -Seven of the disc golf tee pad have been installed, and
Maintenance is waiting for better weather to pour the remaining pads.
Memorial Park -With Bob resigning from the Park Board, Chuck has agreed to
champion this project. Chuck is looking into a plan for trees along 4a` Ave., since Birch is
going to be torn up for sewer work.
Hollow Park Tot Lot - Tabled until November meeting_
Klemfelter -Mike still looking to get two bids for paving a portion of trail in the
park from end of the street pavement to the trail head, including a handicapped parking
stall. We aze waiting for a bid from Hardrives and Custom Surfacing.
Other Parks: Marge checking on installing benches at the Woebegone Trailhead
Park, Mazge is wondering who is resoponsibl.e the Monument at Monument Park. There
is standing water on the granite platform in fron7 of the monument that is causing the
platform sink. Marge to check with Park Maintenance on if it-is.the City's responsibility
to maintain. or is the County's.
New Business: Arcon Development - tabled until next meeting.
