Everything should be done by the first of May. We need to get a crew together to paint the inside. As a Park Board we are disappointed that the new building does not have soffit covering the patio. Cory talked to Gohman Construction and they gave him a bid of $1,235 to fix this. Dale Wick to contact SEH because we thought this should have been in the bid. Motion by Cory, second by Alison to approve the Gohman bid for the soffit and for Cory to purchase 2 steel doors for the old building. Motion passed. Millstream Park: City to start soon at moving old horseshoe courts for the basketball courts. Klinefelter Park: Signs are in and Dick will have them put up. City is accepting bids for the street/parking lot project. Hollow Park: New swing set to be installed by the end of May. New Business: Jottings: The Mayor approached Bruce and suggested that someone from the Park Board should be on the Lake Wobegon Trail Committee. It was discussed and decided that we should send one person each month to the meetings. This month the meeting is at Charlie’s in Freeport on May 3 at noon. Bruce will contact Lonnie to see if he can make it otherwise Chuck will try to attend. Adjournment: Next Meeting May 21, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. CENTENNIAL PARK Submitted by Chuck Muske
