Dear President Dotzler and Chamber Members:
Councilors
Steve Frank The St. Joseph Economic Development Authority (EDA) has asked me to reach out to potential
Bob Loso entities who may contribute toward the cost of streetscape design services. The EDA extends a
Renee Symanietz special thank you to current and past Chamber members for their efforts within the community!
Dale Wick
Please find attached additional information regarding a proposal the EDA has received from
EDA Randy Schmitz at Scenic Specialties for design work related to streetscape/landscaping within
Carolyn Maggie- the Minnesota Street and College Avenue areas. The purpose of the streetscape design is to
Heinen link the Wobegon Trail Center to the Downtown and the Downtown to the proposed CSAH 2
Ken Jacobson new construction. The EDA is interested in developing design materials that can be used to
Al Rassier conduct fundraising efforts for actual installation of streetscape elements in the future. Other
Tom Skahen small communities in Stearns County including Avon and Freeport have attracted donations to
Dale wick streetscape/landscape projects through the use of design materials.
The EDA recognizes the Chamber has been supportive of community activities in the past and
kindly requests consideration of a contribution toward the development of aforementioned
streetscape/landscape designs,
