In attendance: Bruce Berghorst, Marge Lesnick, Terry Thene, Cory Ehlert, Judy Meyer, Renee
Symanietz, Lonnie Abbott, Alison Brown Bell
Secretary's Report -Motion to approve Ehlert. Seconded by Lesnick.
Agenda -Motion to approve -Berghorst, Seconded by Ehlert.
Treasurer's Report - Motion to approve Berghorst. Seconded by Ehlert.
Centennial Park:
Equipment. Symanientz has the quote for the fill from Game Time for the rubber fill. 20001b.
bag covers 150 square ft. at 6 inches. That is the recommendation. Each bag is $981. There are
discounts for quantity. Symanientz will check with the League of MN Cities to see what the
regulations are for pea rock or if we have to use the shredded rubber mulch. Also to find out if
we have to have 6 inches or if we can get by with less. Game Time will have a sale catalog in the
spring and overstock will have a 15% discount. She will also asked Game Time to come up with
a plan for two year olds to 12 year olds for Centennial Park with our budget (20K) and 2008
models in mind.
Liaison and Staff Notes:
Thene -the park signs have been repainted by the maintenance department. The department
might be able to build an ADA accessible picnic table if they have time. It would have 8 ft.
benches and a 10 ft. top with space for wheelchairs.
New Park Board member - we have one application from Judy Meyer. Ask Judy Weyrens to
close applications on March 10 and the Mayor to appoint by March 16.
