Minutes from May 19,2008
Members Present: Cory Ehlert, Chuck Muske, Alison Brown Bell, Marge Lesnick.
Missing Lonnie Abbot, Bruce Berghorst .City Liaison: Lori Bartlett, Renee Symanietz Judy Werens and Terry
Thene.
Special Guest: Chris Beringer from S.E.H.
Call to Order: 7:00 p.m.
Approval of Agenda: Marge motioned to approve, Chuck seconded. Motion approved.
Approval of Minutes: Motioned by Marge and seconded by Alison to approve. Motion Passed.
Treasurers Report: No change. Motion by Chuck, Second by Alison. Note Renee and Lori are not receiving
their copies of the minutes.
S.E.H. Master Park Plan: Judy Weyrens introduced Chris Beringer. Chris passed out info on their plans to
gather info for the MPP. It was decided that they would do a survey of the Saint Joseph residents through the
Water Bill; Judy said if they got the survey to her in time she could get it out with the next Bill. Chris said
Veronica would get Judy the info needed. Chris also wanted the Master Park Plan to be named, Park and Trail
Systems Plan to better project the scope of their work. She said she had a lot to do and would be back for the
June meeting Judy would e-mail us anything needed before than. She would also like to meet with the 1/2cent
sales tax committee.
Park Projects Review:
Terry Thene: Reported that the Eagle Scout has his project going he just needs input from Terry on where to
place everything. Terry also wants the Park Board to ok the ordering of signs to be placed in the City Parks to
remind all Dog Owners of their duty. It was motioned by Cory and seconded by Chuck to ok the purchase of the
signs. Total project not to exceed $500 for signs and post. Motion Passed
