Minutes from March 17 2008
Members Present: Cory Ehlert, Bruce Berghorst, Chuck Muske, Lonnie Abbott,
Alison Brown Bell, Missing Marge Lesnick,
Liaison: Lori Bartlett, Dick Taulfen, Renee Symanietz and new City Works Director
Terry Thene.
Call to Order: 7:00 p.m.
Approval of Agenda: Bruce motioned to approve, Lonnie seconded. Motion approved.
Approval of Minutes: Approve Jan minutes as amended, also approve Feb Minutes.
Motioned by Alison and seconded by Lonnie to approve.
Treasurers Report: $57, 613 is total balance. Motion by Bruce, Second by Alison.
Motion passed.
Request for Proposal: 3 companies have submitted there proposals for a Comprehensive
Park Plan for Saint Joe, they will submit there plans to us at a separate Meeting that both
the Park Board and the City Council could attend. Date March 31St at City Hall meeting
at 6:30 sharp be there early.
Park Projects Review: No Changes
Kennedy School: They were showed plans of 2 playgrounds one for ages 2 to 5 and one
for ages 5 to young adult.
Liaison Report: Renee reported that there is no funding available this year for the new
extension of the Lake Wobegon Trail. It all went to the West Corridor and The University
Bridge.
Northland Park: We should start this in spring.
