PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: The Council was informed of the transfer at the budget meeting on
August 12, 2009.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Attached is a request for operating transfer between the
Northland Heights capital project fund and the general fund. Upon researching the past Northland
Heights project expenditures it was determined the general fund incurred some of the costs for legal and
engineering. There was also one invoice for a stormwater review that was paid for by the stormwater
fund.
Staff is recommending an operating transfer from 435 -Northland Heights to the General fund and the
Stormwater fund to cover the engineering and legal costs association with the Northland Heights project
(bond proceeds) prior to 2009.
