There were 226 reported incidents during the month of July. This compares with 224 reported incidents in 2008 and 305 incidents in 2007. Officers stayed busy this past month dealing with a number of things. We have the speed wave of enforcement with Safe and Sober. This consisted of setting up area's where we knew that there was a problem with speeding. Officers saturated the area and strictly enforced the speed limit. This took place across the county in a number of areas. We had a couple of thefts that took a number of hours to investigate. These were both felony and gross misdemeanor and will results in arrests being made.
