If we re- arranged the layout of the equipment it might allow us to shrink the size of the border thus saving us money on border edging and fill. Terry is going to look into the re-design and Marge is going to contact the equipment manufacturer for an updated plan. Capital Improvement Plan - 2010 The Board made adjustments to the Park Board Capital Improvement plan as noted on the CIP data sheets. Liaison and Staff Notes Terry stated that City Staff needed to replace the roof on one of the pit toilets in Millstream by the campground area due to vandalism. Staff has been busy getting Millstream Park ready for Watershed Education Day for area 4 graders. Terry also mentioned that we had a homeless person living in the campground area of Millstream. Terry contacted the St. Joseph Police Department who assisted getting the person into a local shelter for help. Cory wanted to express his appreciation for the job Terry and his Staff has been doing maintaining the upkeep and appearance of the City's park especially during the budget constraining times. The rest of the Board unanimously agreed. Motion by Cory, that the Park Board should draft a letter of recognition and appreciation for the work Terry and his staff has done this past year, and present it to the City Council.
