It is the remainder of funds from the "Saint Joe Youth Hockey Association" that dissolved over the years when indoor hockey rinks became available. Parents and kids in the program raised the money. It was never decided on what to do with the funds when the association became inactive. We now think the best use for the money is the Winter program of Saint Joseph Park and Recreation. Many of the "kids" now have children of their own that can benefit from outdoor winter activities.
