MEETING DATE: February 101h 2010 AGENDA ITEM: BLS Guidelines Fire Board Agenda item 5 — D BACKGROUND INFORMATION: After meeting with our Medical Advisor, Dr. Mark Halstrom and our First Responder teacher Harold Risk, they notified us that we need to have a Guideline that we can fall back on in case someone would try to come back at the department saying we did not do something right. They gave us a 112 page document that my two medical leaders and I are going thru to fit it to the St. Joseph Fire Department. We will then have Dr. Halstrom read and sign it, and then each member will get a copy of this for their records. BUDGET /FISCAL IMPACT: None ATTACHMENTS: Too long ... (112 pages) REQUESTED ACTION: None, just keeping the Board up to date on major things that are happening.
