BACKGROUND INFORMATION: We purchased two new Backpack Blowers about 7 years ago. We use
these blowers at Grass / Brush Fires, so they see a lot of dirt and debris. After time things ware out and
need to get replaced. The last time we replaced these Blowers was with the help of a DNR 50/50 Grant.
BUDGET /FISCAL IMPACT: % the cost of 2 New Blowers ($450.00 EST.)
ATTACHMENTS: Yes
REQUESTED ACTION: Request that the Fire Board give the go ahead to have the Fire Chief write the
grant to the DNR to see if we can purchase 2 new Blowers. (We must have the Grant filled out and
turned into the DNR by April V, 2010)
