BACKGROUND INFORMATION: In the past four year, we have sent two —three members to the Mn
Chapter IAAI arson training in St. Cloud. By sending members to this class, we are able to find out about
new hazards and techniques that we should be aware of.
BUDGET /FISCAL IMPACT: Cost of the class: $225.00 per member
Cost of the training hours: 24 hours @ $10 per hour ($240.00) per member
TOTAL COST $465.00 per member
ATTACHMENTS: None
REQUESTED ACTION: Have the Fire Board review the cost and after some discussion with the Fire Chief,
make a decision on whether to send the members to this class.
