SUBMITTED BY: Park Board BOARD /COMMISSION /COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION: The Park Board is recommending the Council accept the quote from Minnesota Wisconsin Playground equipment to complete the playground equipment in Northland Park. The first phase was constructed in 2009. PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: Council has previously approved and purchased play ground equipment for Northland Park. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Northland Park equipment was installed in 2009. The play area was oversized for the placement of a future swing set. The previous equipment did not include swings for the play area. The park board has budgeted for a swing set to be purchased in 2010. BUDGET /FISCAL IMPACT: $4,387.38 — Park Funds plus installation with a total estimated cost of $ 7,500.
