Following the presentation the City Council received a presentation from Tom Moore,
Carolyn Yaggie-
Executive Director of the St. Cloud Area Economic Development Partnership.

Following Mr. Moore's presentation, the City Council discussed level of staffing for the EDA

in St. Joseph. The Council has directed the EDA to meet with other area economic

development professionals to discuss alternate models for economic development

outreach. The Council would use input from other area economic development
professionals when deciding what level of staffing is appropriate.
The City Council would like to meet jointly with the EDA to gain input from Benton County
EDA Director Nancy Hoffman and Morrison County EDA Director Carol Anderson on
potential alternative models of economic development outreach. The scenario would
include giving Ms. Hoffman and Ms. Anderson access to current programs the St. Joseph
EDA is pursuing and asking them to comment on such programs.
I've reached out to both Ms. Hoffman and Ms. Anderson regarding potential to attend
meeting and days/times that work best. Ms. Anderson has indicated a willingness to
partake in such a meeting sometime after April 5"'. She prefers meetings later in the day.

The Council requests the EDA consider the recommendation and establish potential
meeting dates.
