AGENDA ITEM: Equity Designations — Requested Action: 2009 Approve EDA

PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: In December of 2008 the City Council adopted a budget for the St.
Joseph Economic Development Authority. Since the EDA is a separate entity that is funded through the
City budget process, the unexpended budget is left in the EDA Fund.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The designation represents unspent budget dollars set aside in the 5-
year capital improvement plan for the EDA. The unspent balance is $9,126.79.
BUDGET /FISCAL IMPACT: This request has a neutral budget impact as the funds have
already been budgeted and collected. This request designates the unspent balance for funding of the
Capital Improvement Plan.
